Denpasar - The Bali Province region is an area that is prone to natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Therefore, Korem 163/WSA which is part of the Indonesian Army's strength, plays an active role in dealing with these threats or problems in its territorial area.
This was stated by Pangdam IX/Udayana, Major General TNI Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., in his speech when opening the Training Command Post I Training Briefing Korem 163/Wira Satya for Fiscal Year 2023 with the theme "Guncang Sakti 23", taking place at Makorem Hall 163/WSA, Jalan PB. Sudirman, Denpasar, on Monday (25/9/2023).
The Pangdam further stated that the Command Post Rehearsal Practice I was an exercise carried out to deal with natural disasters, with the aim of improving the ability of the Commander and Korem 163/WSA Staff in carrying out judha processing techniques to make decisions.
"In order to achieve this goal, the Command Post-Rehearsal Practice I will be developed with various materials that link coordination between commanders and staff. Implement good coordination between actors and organizers so that the exercise runs well and creates a training atmosphere that is close to actual reality," said the Pangdam.
Regarding the main task, the Pangdam emphasized that not all Korem had their turn to carry out Command Post-Rehearsal Practice I. "So study and understand each other's duties; carry them out seriously so that the knowledge gained now can be applied to future field exercises," stressed the Pangdam.
After opening and giving a speech, Pangdam IX/Udayana left Korem 163/WSA Hall for the Tanah Aron Room to carry out the initial briefing for the Command Post-Rehearsal Practice I.
