Pangdam IX/Udayana: In the Year of Politics, TNI Neutrality Must Be Upheld


Denpasar- The handing over of positions within the TNI AD is a common thing as a process of personnel development and organizational development which are interrelated to one another. This aims to improve organizational performance and productivity as well as career development for the officers concerned, said the Military Commander IX/Udayana Maj. Gen. Harfendi, S.I.P., M.Sc., while chairing the Certijab and Tradition Report of Corps Officers of the IX/Udayana Military Command, Monday (28/8/2023) in the Supardi Hall.


The officials who carried out the handover of positions included Danpomdam IX/Udayana from Colonel Cpm Novem Janri Rajagukguk, S.H., M.Th. to Colonel Cpm Unggul Wahyudi, S.H., M.Tr. (Han) and those carrying out the tradition of accepting positions include Colonel Cpl Tri Sartono, S.I.P., (as Chief of Staff of the Kasrem 163/Wira Satya) and Lieutenant Colonel Arm Muh. Saifudin Khoiruzzamani, S. Sos. (as Dandim 1606/Mataram).


Pangdam IX/Udayana in his remarks congratulated and thanked them for their dedication so far, many international events have been successfully carried out so that they can become provisions in their new assignments, for new officials I welcome and congratulations on duty immediately adjust to the tasks that will be faced to become the best way of serving the nation and state.


Ending his remarks, the Military Commander stressed that neutrality in politics must be upheld, neutrality is not supporting any one candidate or party. The TNI's task is only to ensure the smooth running of elections. If there is a Soldier's wife who becomes a member of the council so that she can sort out activities when accompanying her husband and his political activities.
