International and Regional Golfers Participate in Tournaments and Social Services

Badung - As a series of activities for the 66th Birthday of Kodam IX/Udayana in 2023 this time, it will be enlivened by a Golf Tournament and Social Service which will be held at New Kuta Golf, Pecatu, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, on Sunday 28 May 2023.

The golf tournament which was attended by 119 golfers from all over Indonesia and abroad was symbolically opened by hitting a smoke ball by Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., and accompanied by the release of balloons by all participants.

In his remarks, Pangdam IX/Udayana welcomed and thanked all attendees and participants. The holding of this golf tournament also aims to strengthen friendship and enhance cooperation between New Kuta Golf Pecatu and Kodam IX/Udayana stakeholders with golfers.

"I thank you for the participation of the golfers who do not only come from the Bali region, but more from outside Bali who are already professional. Those who hit a little have a happy heart, those who hit a lot have healthy bodies. Thank you, have a good match!" Commander said.

Meanwhile, in his speech during the Gala Dinner after the Golf Tournament, the Military Commander said that in the framework of the 66th Birthday, the IX/Udayana Regional Military Command also provided Social Assistance in the form of 1,040 boxes of ceramics for the construction of places of worship and the provision of 17 wheelchairs for persons with disabilities. as well as delivery of several basic food packages.

"This social service activity is a form of Kodam IX/Udayana's concern for the community, to participate in overcoming or easing the burden on the community. I hope that through this social service activity we can further enhance the unity of the TNI and the people," concluded the Military Commander.

At the end of the activity, a symbolic Handover of Social Assistance and Donations was also carried out by the Regional Military Commander IX/Udayana, followed by a Lucky Draw Draw, Winner Category Announcement, as well as a Grand Lucky Draw and Super Grand Lucky Draw. (Pendam IX/Udy)
