The Evacuation Task Force is Always Ready to Give Best Support for G20 Summit Participants



Badung - Implementation of the G20 Summit does not only focus on security, but disaster evacuation readiness is also a special concern for the success of the activity, namely the establishment of an Evacuation Task Force, where at the 2022 G20 Indonesia Summit Presidency led by Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Sachono,  S.H., M.Sc., as the Evacuation Task Force Commander.


On Tuesday (15/11/2022), Evacuation Task Force Command Center was located at the Puja Mandala Worship Center, Jalan Nusa Dua, South Kuta Badung, Bali, visited by the Chief of Army Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dr. Dudung Abdurachman was accompanied by the Pangkostrad, Danjen Kopassus and Kapuskesad who were greeted directly by the Kasdam IX/Udayana.


The presence of Kasad to review the G20 Summit Evacuation Task Force Command Center was intended to continue ensure that all equipment used was always in a ready condition and to provide spirits personnel who are members of the Evacuation Task Force.


While at the Evacuation Task Force Command Center, the Kasad received a report on the readiness of personnel, material and all other supporting equipment used when moved at any time in carrying out the evacuation task of invited guests participating in the G20 Summit Presidency submitted by the Evacuation Dansatgas.


It is important to note that temporary Evacuation Command Centers have also been prepared in places that are easy and quick to reach by the invited participants of the G20 Summit Presidency in the event of a natural disaster.

 

 In addition, the Evacuation Task Force consisting of elements of the TNI, Polri, BMKG, BPBD and Basarnas is also on full alert during the G20 Summit activities to anticipate natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and tsunamis at any time. (Pendam IX/Udy)
